Hi there, Edix Onki! Thank you for your help throughout the years!
So, I got your email about this as well!
YouTube user “9L9EX17J” uploaded a gushers tv ad (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JE9MJ9KANTk&feature=youtu.be) that I actually don’t remember airing in the 90s. The title dates the commercial as airing in 1992. [ clipped ]
Amazing undisocvered find if I do say so myself.
Makes me hopeful there’s other ads out there on some VHS tape just waiting to be found and digitized.
So, I started a new tag for 9L9EX17J (even though I still gotta tag just about everything else) over the last weeks.
Thank you for the submission, it’s really surreal to see this ad. I didn’t hear about it, either. And more on that note, I was just wondering if “The Mandela Effect” would actually be true. I was just thinking how whether or not it actually existed back in that era, it’s essentially impossible to prove unless you saw it yourself. It may never aired, or was just created. I don’t know if there are such records of ads. (Isn’t that dangerous?) Anyways, yes–this ad is totally unexpected, and quite a find. It looks believable.
Have you seen a copy of this ad?
Here’s a download of it from 9L9EX17J: http://www.mediafire.com/file/kk3u52r67mh8ish/9L9EX17J%20-%201992%20Fruit%20Gushers%20commercial.mp4
